CostrixIQ is designed primarily for contractors involved early in a project, where the scope, budget and commercial strategy are still evolving. It supports sales, pre-construction and commercial teams, while giving business leadership clearer visibility across live opportunities and projects.

CostrixIQ supports the journey from the first commercial conversation through to contractual commitment. Teams can establish an initial position, shape options and scenarios, validate the cost base, assess risk and opportunity, and explain and govern the position as greater certainty develops.

Traditional estimating software is often designed to produce a fixed lump-sum answer, while spreadsheets provide flexibility but can become difficult to govern, compare and scale.

CostrixIQ is designed specifically for the progressive nature of sales and pre-construction. It retains the flexibility to explore different commercial pathways while maintaining one structured, controlled and auditable position. Depending on a contractor's existing systems, CostrixIQ can replace disconnected spreadsheets and complement other operational platforms.

Every CostrixIQ client follows a structured setup, onboarding and training process. The platform is configured around the organisation, its commercial structure and the way its teams work. Users are then introduced to the relevant processes and capabilities, with training focused on how CostrixIQ applies to their roles and commercial journey.

Ongoing adoption support helps embed the platform into the organisation's operating rhythm.

CostrixIQ is designed for enterprise use with regional cloud environments, a separate database for each customer, role-based permissions and support for corporate single sign-on. Customer data remains within its allocated region unless another arrangement is agreed.

The platform also incorporates managed cloud security, encrypted data transmission, backups and recovery controls. More detailed security information can be discussed during a demonstration or provided in response to an enterprise security enquiry.

CostrixTakeoff is coming soon. It is being developed to connect measured quantities directly with the live CostrixIQ cost plan, reducing duplication and helping maintain a connected commercial position from measurement through to reporting.
